Abstract:
The article presents the phenomenon of multiculturalism in the aspect of the interaction of literatures. The essence of this phenomenon is revealed, reflecting the idea of the interconnection of a certain set of cultures (literatures), realized as a possible theoretical and practical experience. Multiculturalism is defined as a political ideology that determines the quality of a social system and requires manageability. The field of education is presented as the most important system of such management, namely, a multilingual model of multicultural education, in which the study of literature is assumed in broad cultural contexts when considering each individual work of art as an integral part of the general cultural process. The correlation between the general and the emerging model of individual literary worldviews is given. The importance of this process in the implementation of the goal-setting model for the humanization of education, for its formation by means of a modern multicultural and multilingual personality, for the preservation and development of the linguistic heritage and cultural diversity of mankind is noted. Russian Russian literature reflects the special means of interaction of literatures functioning in the model and representing its mechanisms: multiculturalism as a systemic didactic triculture (native literature – Russian literature – English literature), multilingualism as a systemic didactic trilingualism (native language – Russian language – foreign language), the specifics of comparative comparison of literatures, their dialogic and integrative nature. The concept of value and meaning, the leading concepts of this interaction, is updated. It is shown that the targeted involvement of such literary material in the multicultural educational model, which includes value systems of different peoples, including the peoples of Russia, is designed to significantly expand the possibilities of forming the Russian civil and civilizational identity of students, over the formation of a culture of interethnic relations and opportunities for the manifestation of their personality.
