THE IMAGE OF THE FUTURE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE IN NORTH OSSETIA: VALUES AND MEANINGS.

Abstract:

In the realities of the modern world, the concept of «turbulence» has become a key semantic marker, where planning horizons are significantly narrowing, and the unpredictability of social processes nullifies any futurological forecasts. The dynamics of global and local change are such that the terms «post-industrial,» «post-globalist,» and «postmodern» current only yesterday – are giving way to a new concept: «post-human,» with the primacy of digitalization and artificial intelligence, where the boundary between humans and technology is simply erased. Nevertheless, both foreign and Russian media-political discourse raises questions about the future social architecture – the «image of the future» – of humanity in general and local societies in particular. Russia is positioning itself within this space-time continuum as a «special civilization» founded on the foundation of historical continuity, patriotism, and traditional spiritual and moral values. These concepts, reflected in the national development goals of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030 and for the period up to 2036, clearly serve as a foundation for constructing the «image of the future.» According to a recent statement by the Russian president’s press secretary, the country is currently experiencing an ideal crisis, which strengthens our sovereignty and promotes unity and consolidation. In the context of unprecedented foreign policy pressure, the key task of the public administration system is to ensure domestic political stability in a multiethnic society. This is especially relevant for the North Caucasus, a region of heightened ethnopolitical vulnerability. The North Caucasus is currently experiencing significant sociopolitical, economic, and sociocultural transformations and the formation of a new, post-conflict image. This article analyzes for the first time the role of youth, as both the subject and object of modernization changes, in constructing the «image of the future,» using the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania as an example, using the theory and methodology of social architecture.
