Abstract:
The article considers for the first time the dialectical interaction of the national and international components in culture on the example of the analysis of the creative activity of the outstanding educator of the 18th and the first third of the 19th centuries - Ivan Yalguzidze-Gabaraev. The socio-cultural relevance of the article is due to a complex of geopolitical challenges that require the search for effective mechanisms of interethnic stability in the North Caucasus. As history testifies, they are taking into account the balance of interests of ethnic groups living not only in the Caucasus, as well as spiritual bonds, such as sworn-brothers, emphasis on peaceful aspects in Christianity and Islam. The article deals with a complex of historical conditions (socio-political, cultural, psychological) that influenced the formation of the worldview system of Ivan Yalguzidze- Gabaraev and largely determined his work. The contribution of the educator to the formation of the foundations of intercultural communication between Ossetia and Georgia is analyzed. His contribution to the development of the Ossetian language is considered: Yalguzidze was the first to create a textbook-primer in the Ossetian language, using Georgian secular graphics, and published it in 1821 in Tbilisi. He also translated several church books from Russian and Georgian into Ossetian. Six of them were published in Moscow and Tbilisi. He compiled two Ossetian alphabets: one based on the Georgian alphabet «Khutsuri», the second - on the basis of the characters of the Georgian secular script. In addition, the article analyzes the poem «Alguziani» from the point of view of the component of intercultural interaction contained in it. Primer-textbook by I. Yalguzidze-Gabaraev, his poem «Alguziani» and diplomatic activity are thus a clear example of successful interethnic and intercultural interaction.
